Finally Sony PS3 Comes together with a 120GB HDD and it also 1.5kg lighter than the original PS3 and also consumes less than original PS3 power.The cooling system has been redesigned and Cell processor has moved to a 45nm manufacturing process.Plus it also have new capability added to it is Bravia Sync, which you can use the Sony Bravia TVs remote to control you PS3 and also, vertical stand support which is available separately for a price that are yet to be determined for Asian region.
The only capability missing in this new slim unit is the Linux support which most probably will not be missed by majority of the gamers. According to the official press release from Sony, the unit will have a recommended retail price (RRP) of (USD 299) which is (USD 100) cheaper than the original PS3.
The official press release also mentioned that the new slim unit will be available worldwide from 1st September onwards…
With PS3 Slim and PSP go is expected to be released in this region soon, looks like an exciting period for PlayStation is coming just up ahead.
